One of my favorite songs of all times is "The Anchor Holds" by Ray Boltz, the message in that song brings peace and strength in midst of trial. If you've never heard it, take the time to find it and listen to it, it is powerful.
I have learned through struggles and trials in my life that if I don't have my Anchor firmly grounded the waves of life will take you places you don't want to go. I've also found that when my Anchor is firm and the waves crash and I am tossed to and fro that the outcome is amazing, the rainbow takes your breath away, and tears flow because of the overwhelming joy in your heart.
God is my Anchor and without Him I am nothing!
